Save the world - recycle

A lot of people, especially young people, are very concerned about the damage humans are doing to the world.
But there are a lot of ways in which you can help from your own home.
You can try following some of the steps below:

• Why not set up your own recycling service? Over each bin in the house put a plastic bag and a sign asking people not to throw away bottles, fabric, newspaper and anything else that can be recycled locally, but to put them in the bag. Once a week, empty the bags into a box. You can take the box to the local recycling depot.

• Why not try walking, cycling or taking the bus or train to school? Walking and cycling also make you fitter, and buses and trains use much less fuel per person than cars
• 
  Find out about your local environmental group from school or the library. You can help them to do practical things for your local environment.

• Precycle: Buy products with less packaging, or ones which have already been recycled.

• CFCs: Avoid aerosol cans that don't say CFC free somewhere on the packaging. Those that don't say it may contain dangerous chloro-fluoro-carbons which contribute to the greenhouse effect.

This is a great page! Indeed, if we don't care who will?

Please have a look at the information about seed balls for re-greening
the earth. They are simple to make and work in any environment from
tundra to tropical forests. I have helped several young people use them
to win science fair awards. They are like tiny models of the earth with
seeds, soil and clay minerals. Just add water and you have a whole
